Hi, I’m Xavier Flowers.

You may be wondering why I started nTent Fitness.

In my senior year of college, while I was deep in the grind of earning my bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, my grandmother became ill. She didn’t tell me what it was at first—she didn’t want to worry me while I was in school. Later, I found out it was cancer. That moment shook me, making me acutely aware of my own health and mortality.

I realized I didn’t really know how to take care of my body. I was what some people might call “skinny-fat”—I didn’t look out of shape, but I felt sluggish, weak, and dissatisfied with how I looked and performed. Something had to change, so I decided to make a commitment to my health.

With the support of those around me, I took my first steps toward learning what a healthy, active life looked like. My background in science led me to seek out evidence-based answers, diving into research and the teachings of respected coaches. I discovered that fitness and nutrition could reduce the risk of death from any cause by almost 50%. Even for those with serious illnesses, better health choices improved outcomes. This knowledge fueled my determination.

As I progressed, people began to notice the changes in me, and they started reaching out, asking how they could make changes in their own lives. It became clear that many people were just as lost as I had been, overwhelmed by misinformation and myths about health and fitness.

That’s why I started nTent Fitness. My goal is to help people find their path to a healthy, sustainable life—one they can maintain and feel good about. I want them to experience the benefits of a healthier lifestyle, not just for themselves, but for the impact they can have on their families, passing down these habits to future generations. Health is a legacy, and it can start with just one person.
